Choose your program

Compare the six TU affiliated programs, read the course cycle and career paths, and shortlist the program that fits your goals. Our counselors are happy to help.

Appear for the entrance test

Bachelor’s applicants sit the CMAT (Management) or the Entrance Test (Humanities and Social Sciences / Computer Applications) conducted by Tribhuvan University. Master’s applicants hold a bachelor degree from a recognized university.

Submit your application

Fill in the admission form and bring your academic transcripts, certificates and photographs to the admissions desk at Basundhara, or start with an online enquiry.

Counseling and enrollment

Meet the program coordinator, confirm your seat and fee plan, and join the orientation to meet your mentor and classmates.

Questions we hear often

Which university are the programs affiliated to?

All Bachelor and Master level programs at SWSC — BBM, BCA, BSW, BBS, MBS and MA (English) — are affiliated to Tribhuvan University.

What is the minimum qualification to apply for a bachelor’s program?

+2 or equivalent in any discipline from an institution recognized by Tribhuvan University. BBM also requires successful completion of CMAT conducted by the Faculty of Management, TU, and BCA requires the entrance test of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, TU.

Who can apply for the MBS and MA (English) programs?

Applicants with a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university. MBS requires CMAT; MA (English) requires the entrance test conducted by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, TU.

Does the college help with internships and placement?

Yes. The Career Guidance & Placement Cell provides counseling, resume writing and mock interviews, and facilitates direct recruitment drives. Strategic industry linkages translate into internships and live projects.

Are there facilities for health and well-being?

The campus has a nursing station staffed by a registered nurse, a referral network with leading hospitals in Kathmandu, and a qualified psycho-social counselor.
